Role Overview

The Early Years Head leads the Pre-Primary/Kindergarten section, ensuring delivery of high-quality, inquiry-based learning aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) philosophy, while fostering a secure, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage Early Years (Nursery to KG) academic and pastoral operations
Implement IB PYP framework through play-based and inquiry-driven pedagogy
Ensure age-appropriate curriculum planning, assessment, and documentation
Mentor and supervise Early Years teachers and support staff
Conduct classroom observations and provide instructional coaching
Maintain solid parent engagement and communication
Ensure child safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding compliance
Coordinate with academic leadership for school-wide alignment
Organize events, celebrations, and developmental activities for holistic growth

Required Qualifications
Graduate with B.Ed. / Early Childhood Education (mandatory preference)




Additional certification in Early Childhood Education preferred
IB PYP training or experience is highly desirable
Minimum 58 years teaching experience in Early Years
At least 2–3 years in leadership/coordination role
