Sales & Service Engineer - Job Description
Location: Mumbai/Delhi
Reporting To: National Sales Manager / Service Head
Job Summary
The Sales & Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and technical sales support of medical equipment including Oxygen Concentrators. The role involves distributor visits, hospital coordination, technical demonstrations, and driving regional sales growth while ensuring high service standards.
Technical & Service Responsibilities
Preventive maintenance and breakdown servicing.
Troubleshooting technical issues (purity issues, compressor faults, PCB faults, alarms, etc.).
Conduct in office and remote diagnosis.
Maintain service records and submit reports regularly.
Train hospital staff, dealers, and end-users on product usage and maintenance.
Ensure warranty compliance and proper documentation.
Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate dispatch when required.

Sales & Business Development Responsibilities
Promote company products to hospitals, home healthcare providers, and distributors.
Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
Generate and follow up on leads.




Coordinate with distributors for order closures.
Support in achieving monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Collect market feedback on pricing, competition, and product performance.
Identify rental partners and current channel opportunities.

Customer Relationship Management
Ensure quick turnaround time for service calls.
Maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Support in payment follow-ups when required.

Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering / Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation.
15 years of experience in medical device service or sales.
Experience in respiratory equipment (preferred).
Solid troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to travel within assigned region.
