Welding / Cladding as per the drawing and as per the procedure for the items using one of the: GTAW, SMAW, SAW. Maintain the records as required by the procedure. Follow safety procedures and instructions.
Operating Fronius Cladding machines or any other equivalent manufacturer.
ITI with 5 year/Diploma with 3 year s experience in Cladding Welding.
Work experience in operating Automatic Cladding machine
Must have experience in SMAW and GTAW welding
Must have solid understanding of how to interpret and use drawings, Welding specifications and welding procedure.
Must be able use and read welding measuring devices.
Must be able to write program for the welding on auto welding
Must be familiar with operation of auto Tig machine, Welding torches and accessories
Must have experience in welding of oil and gas industry items.
Ability to produce quality welds.
Ability to visually inspect the weld
Ability to analyze the defects and act on elimination of those.
Ability to perform repair welds as per the procedure .
Layout, positions, aligns and fits components together using applicable machines, tools and equipment.
Bolt,
clamp and tack weld parts to secure them in position for final welding.
Welding programming on CNC as per the drawing.
Select consumables as per the WPS / Work Order details
Prior to start welding, check and calibration status of machines and ovens
Pre- heat as required by the procedure
Start welding and monitor each pass for the welding quality
Check and maintain inter-pass temperature as per procedure
Record all details required as per the procedure in respective format
Record / identify / communicate, in case any NCR noticed
Identify the items as required by the procedure
Follow safety instructions and notify, if any unsafe conditions noticed.
Move all the welded items to PWHT and follow PWHT Procedure
Suggest for the improvements through CAR / PAR
