Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Hotel Accountant to manage accounting operations for our US-based hotel and resort portfolio. The role is responsible for handling daily income audits, multi-currency bookkeeping, revenue reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll accounting, and month-end and year-end closing activities. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial records, maintain compliance with US accounting standards, prepare financial reports, and collaborate closely with US stakeholders to support efficient hotel accounting operations.

Duties Responsibilities

- Perform daily revenue reconciliation and reporting.
Conduct income audits and resolve discrepancies.
Process AP invoices and vendor payments.
Perform daily bank reconciliations.
Process payroll accounting and payments.
Prepare journal entries for month-end close.
Review General Ledger balances.
Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Review monthly PL reports.
Complete month-end and year-end accounting processes.
Coordinate with US stakeholders to ensure accurate financial operations.

Education Training
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.



Experience in US Hotel Accounting and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hotel accounting software (Epicor, M3, QuickBooks, Yardi, Oracle, or similar) are required.

Knowledge, Skills Experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of US Hotel Accounting experience.
Solid knowledge of income audit, AP, AR, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close.
Experience with multi-currency accounting and multiple hotel/resort portfolios.
Proficiency in Excel and hotel accounting software (Epicor, M3, QuickBooks, Yardi, Oracle, or similar).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
