The role involves the verification of TDS sections and rates, along with PAN validation, to ensure accuracy in tax deductions. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for generating monthly TDS/TCS liabilities and ensuring timely payments. Additionally, the role includes preparing for tax audits and ITR workings, as well as conducting quarterly and half-yearly reconciliations of 26AS. The successful candidate will also handle TDS assessment notices and provide comprehensive responses. Proficiency in SAP and other IT applications related to finance and accounts is essential to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. The role demands robust analytical skills and the ability to develop effective tax strategies and planning.
