Job Description: Business Analyst Finance Domain (6-7 Years Experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong experience in the finance and

banking domain (6–7 years) to join our FinTech organization. The role requires deep expertise

in financial products, loan lifecycle management, and digital financial services along with the

ability to gather requirements, design user journeys, and collaborate with cross-functional

teams to deliver scalable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with stakeholders (Product, Technology, Compliance, Risk) to gather, document, and

refine business requirements.

- Analyze and translate complex business needs into clear functional specifications and

user stories for product development teams.

- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to ensure functional requirements are

implemented accurately.

- Conduct gap analysis between current processes/systems and emerging business needs.
- Prepare business process workflows, BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FSDs

(Functional Solution Documents), and user journey designs.

- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test cases, validating features, and

ensuring smooth rollout of new releases.

- Work closely with the data and analytics team to define reporting requirements and

performance KPIs.

- Monitor industry and regulatory updates (NBFC, RBI, digital lending guidelines) and ensure

compliance is incorporated in product features.





- Act as a bridge between business users and technology teams to drive timely project

delivery.

- Train internal stakeholders and end-users on product features and new process

enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6–7 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Services, Banking,

NBFCs, or FinTech domains.

- Strong understanding of loan products, credit lifecycle, collections, payments,

reconciliation, and digital lending ecosystems.

- Experience in drafting BRDs, FSDs, Process Flow Diagrams, and Use Case documents.
- Familiarity with LMS (Loan Management Systems), Core Banking Systems, Risk &

Compliance processes, and digital APIs.

- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Visio, JIRA, Confluence, and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with senior management and technical teams.
- Knowledge of RBI regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in FinTech is an

added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA/PGDM in Finance, Business, or related domain.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to digital payments, API integrations, or neo-banking platforms.
