Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manual / Functional QA Engineer to safeguard the quality and reliability of our products. You will analyze requirements, design and execute test cases, identify and track defects, and work closely with development and product teams across the software delivery lifecycle to ship high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze requirements, specifications and design documents to create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Design, document and execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke and sanity tests.
- Perform exploratory and ad-hoc testing to uncover edge-case and usability issues.
- Identify, log and track defects using defect-management tools (JIRA, ALM/QC, Azure DevOps or similar) and drive them to closure.
- Verify fixes and perform regression testing across builds and releases.
- Prepare and maintain test data, requirement traceability matrices and QA documentation.
- Collaborate with developers,



business analysts and product owners to clarify requirements and reproduce issues.
- Participate actively in Agile / Scrum ceremonies sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Report test progress, coverage and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards and best practices.
- Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3 – 8 years of hands-on experience in manual / functional software testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and the defect life cycle.
- Proven ability to write and execute clear test scenarios, test cases and test plans.
- Experience across functional, regression, integration, system, UAT and cross-browser testing.
- Hands-on experience with defect-tracking / test-management tools (JIRA, ALM/QC, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Solid working knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Basic SQL for backend / database validation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills, with robust attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.

Preferred / Good to Have

- Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium) or a keen willingness to learn automation.
- API testing experience using Postman or similar tools.
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
- Domain experience in Automotive, Telecom, Semiconductor, IoT or Enterprise Devices.
- Exposure to mobile / device testing or basic performance testing.
