Job Description

Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE) / BE Civil

We are looking for an experienced Rebar Detailer with hands-on experience in U.S. Rebar Detailing to join our growing team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in preparing accurate rebar shop drawings, interpreting structural drawings, and working with ACI standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate and error-free rebar shop drawings for fabrication and installation.
- Detail reinforcement for various structural elements such as beams, columns, slabs, footings, walls, and foundations.
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings to create reinforcement detailing.
- Develop Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and reinforcement layouts.
- Coordinate with project managers and structural engineers to resolve detailing queries.
- Ensure all detailing complies with ACI standards and project specifications.
- Deliver high-quality work within project timelines.

Required Skills

- 2-5 years of experience in U.S. Rebar Detailing.
- Strong knowledge of ACI (American Concrete Institute) standards.




- Hands-on experience with Tekla Structures, Rebar CAD, AutoCAD, or similar detailing software.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings independently.
- Experience in preparing shop drawings and BBS.
- Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE) or
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE/B.Tech) in Civil Engineering

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience working on U.S.-based construction projects.
- Knowledge of reinforced concrete detailing and BIM workflows.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willing to work from the Chennai office.
