Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the Accounts Head in managing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and audit activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a quick-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Accounts Head in day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and general ledger.
- Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Process vendor invoices and customer payments.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings.
- Support internal, statutory, and tax audits by providing required documentation.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and vendor balances.




- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and internal departments.
- Verify accounting entries and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as required by the Accounts Head.
- Perform any other finance and accounting tasks assigned by the Accounts Head.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, MIS reporting).
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications

- ICWA
- M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter (Preferred)

Experience

- 7+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in supporting senior finance leadership
