Nina Johal is Surrey Careers Hub’s Enterprise Coordinator for East Surrey. She has worked with schools, colleges and training providers to overcome the challenges and barriers young people face in accessing opportunities into the world of work.
Nina is passionate about linking employers to the education system embedding work experience opportunities to empower young people, especially our underserved cohort helping them make informed choices for their future.
While in education, Nina wanted to be an engineer and work for her dad’s business. Unfortunately, women in engineering was not an option – so, she is glad she can now advocate for their voices!
