Job DescriptionJob Purpose NDesign, build, and evolveBetterUp's Design System across web and mobile platforms while driving product quality, consistency, and scalability. This role requires a senior product designer who can combine exceptional systems thinking with strong product thinking, translating complex user and business problems into scalable design solutions. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Brand teams to shape the future of BetterUp's product experience through reusable design systems, strategic decision-making, and AI-powered design workflows. NWho You Arenn 7+ years of Product Design experience, including at least 3 years specializing in Design Systems. N Proven experience building and scaling enterprise Design Systems across web and mobile platforms. N Expert proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Components, Variables, Design Tokens, Libraries). N Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, including problem definition, research, exploration of alternatives, design decisions, trade-offs, and measurable business outcomes—not just polished UI screens. N Experience owning product areas or design system initiatives from discovery through execution. N Strong understanding ofDesign Systems architecture, component libraries, documentation, governance, and adoption strategies. N Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and cross-functional stakeholders to influence product direction. N Strong systems thinkingwith exceptional attention to typography, spacing, hierarchy, interaction design, accessibility (WCAG), and visual consistency. N Understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, React) and design-to-engineering workflows.



N Experience using AI-powered design tools such as Figma AI, AI-assisted prototyping, or design automation tools. N Excellent communicationand stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence product decisions and mentor other designers.
