Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior Manager- Operations (Domestic) NExperience: 5+ Years NPosition Overview: The Senior Manager of Operations and Contracting for MICE, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of all operational aspects related to MICE events. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in operations management, contract negotiation, and vendor management within the MICE industry. NKey Responsibilities: NOperations Management: Nn Oversee the end-to-end operational aspects of MICE events, including planning, execution, and post-event evaluation. N Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in event execution. N Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure all operational requirements are met within specified timelines and budgets. N Identify potential operational risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them. NnContracting: Nn Lead the contracting process for MICE events, including negotiating contracts with venues, suppliers, and other service providers. N Ensure all contracts comply with legal and company standards, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions. N Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate long-term contracts to secure competitive pricing and quality service. N Monitor contract performance and address any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner. NnVendor Management: Nn Identify and on-board new vendors and suppliers as needed,



ensuring they meet quality and service standards. N Manage vendor relationships, including contract renewals, performance evaluations, and issue resolution. N Collaborate with vendors to innovate and improve services, processes, and offerings. NnBudget Management: Nn Work closely withthe finance department to develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines. N Monitor expenses throughout the event lifecycle and identify opportunities for cost savings or reallocation. NnQualifications: Nn Bachelor's degreein Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. N 5+ years of experience in operations management and contracting within the MICE industry. N Proven track record of successfully executing large-scale MICE events, including conferences, exhibitions, and incentive trips. N Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable contracts and pricing agreements. N Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. N Solid understanding of budget management principles and experience managing event budgets. N Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. N Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. N Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple priorities effectively. N
