Job DescriptionORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE NBUSINESS: CIRCOR Industrial NLOCATION: Coimbatore NDIRECT REPORTING: Operations Manager NSenior Manufacturing Engineer NPOSITION DETAILSnPosition Summary NThe Senior Manufacturing Engineer shall support the business in areas of new product development; process improvement; daily product support; project manage key programs; technical authority in metal processes; analyze and interpret technical data (engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, etc.) and create shop routings, operations sheets, tools, and other necessary processes and equipment to produce a high-quality product. NPrincipal Activitiesn N RFQ costing preparationfor New Projects & NPD Products N Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and production systems. N Develop and maintain manufacturing process mapping, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation. N Support Recent Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process validation and production readiness. N Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve manufacturing performance. N Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to achieve operational goals. N Programs CNC machines to effectively and efficiently product desired product. N Analyse and resolve Production tooling related issues N Create new or modify existing manufacturing drawings used CAD methodology. N Value engineer existingproducts and processes to reduce cost, lead time and cycle times. NnCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS NKnowledge Skills & Abilities Nn 12+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience in an high precision manufacturing environment with high mix/low to mid volume product rates.

N Knowledge of Tool Design (Jigs & Fixtures, Tools and Gauges) and Developments N Extension machining background with hands-on expertise in CNC, VMC, VTL process supporting the production of close tolerance highly precision products involving various types of metal allows. CAD/CAM experience with exposure in working with NX, Solid Works or Master Cam preferred. N Strong metal processingbackground, i.E., Heat Treating, Surface Finishing, Forging, Casting, etc. N Strong Project Management Skills. N Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project, SolidWorks, CATIA and other applicable tools. N Identifies and resolvesproblems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions; works well in a group problem solving situations; presents ideas and information in a manner that gets others' attention; displays willingness tomake decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions includes appropriate people in decision-making process. N Passion for data, analysis, trends, reporting and technology. Ability to read and interpret documents.
