Job Description
Life on the Team
Create and maintain current and target enterprise architecture views for Global Business Services (e.g. Finance, Human Resources, Legal) and Global Information Services (our internal IT division) capabilities. Connect business strategy, technology direction and portfolio priorities into clear capability roadmaps, investment choices and architecture guidance.
Ensure governance, standards and decision-making support coherent, value-led and sustainable technology change across these corporate functions.
What You'll Do
- Act as the Enterprise Architecture lead for Global Business Services which covers both our Business Services (e.g. Finance, HR, Legal, Property) and Information Services (Cyber, Platforms, Delivery) divisions. You will be helping business and technology stakeholders make informed decisions that support strategy, value delivery and risk reduction.
- Partner with Business Services and GIS stakeholders and work with Solution Architecture and delivery teams to define a shared architecture vision and roadmap for our services and investments in your scope.
- Assure solution options against enterprise architecture principles, guardrails, commercial considerations and business outcomes before they progress into delivery.
- Support annual and quarterly planning by ensuring initiatives align to agreed strategies, architecture direction, dependencies, risks and value priorities.
- Maintain effective architecture governance, decision records, standards and tooling so stakeholders can make transparent and consistent decisions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the Enterprise Architecture practice by improving EA information quality, reusable artefacts, tools and ways of working.
What You'll Need
- Enterprise Architecture experience across corporate functions such as Finance, HR, Legal, as well as technology capabilities in associated with Cyber, Cloud Platforms and Workspace.
- Strong understanding of business applications, integration, data, controls, risk, compliance and technology operating models.
- Ability to translate business strategy into technology strategy, capability roadmaps, architecture principles and portfolio guidance.
- Knowledge of frameworks and methods including TOGAF, Archi Mate, Secure, ITIL, Fin Ops, Dev SecOps, Responsible AI principles, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001 and ISO 27001.
- Experience with enterprise architecture and modelling tools such as LeanIX, Ardoq, Bizzdesign, Archi Mate or Sparx EA.
- Credible stakeholder influencer who can engage, challenge and guide senior business, GIS and delivery stakeholders.
- Technology-neutral and outcome-focused, with the judgement to balance value, cost, risk, complexity and sustainability.
- Strong analytical, planning, facilitation, negotiation, communication and organizational skills.
- Experience using EA repositories, architecture models, roadmaps and decision artefacts to improve governance and decision-making.
