Job Description
The work role of Food and Beverage (F&B;) service involves greeting guests, taking accurate orders, and serving food and drinks professionally. It ensures complete guest satisfaction from arrival to payment.
Core Duties
- Guest Greeting: Welcoming customers, seating them, and providing menus.
- Order Taking: Noting food and drink choices accurately and passing them to the kitchen or bar.
- Serving: Delivering orders following proper etiquette.
- Table Maintenance: Clearing used plates, cleaning tables, and setting up tableware.
- Billing: Processing payments and handling cash or digital receipts.
Hygiene and Safety
- Cleanliness: Keeping the dining area, counters, and service stations tidy.
- Sanitation: Following health rules and wearing clean uniforms.
