Job
Description:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.

- Build and enhance automation frameworks using JavaScript or TypeScript.

- Automate functional, regression, smoke, and end -to -end test scenarios.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects.

- Debug test failures and work with development teams to resolve issues.

- Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and test planning activities.

- Create and maintain test documentation, automation reports, and best practices.

- Continuously improve test coverage and automation efficiency.


Required Skills

- 3+ years of experience in software testing with strong automation expertise.

- Hands -on experience with Playwright for web application automation.

- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.





- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns.

- Experience with API testing using Playwright or tools such as Postman.

- Knowledge of Git version control.

- Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem -solving skills.


Preferred Skills

- Experience with Page Object Model (POM) and data -driven testing.

- Knowledge of cross -browser and cross -platform testing.

- Familiarity with Docker and containerized test execution.

- Experience with SQL and database validation.

- Exposure to performance or accessibility testing is an advantage.

- Experience working with cloud -based testing platforms.


Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Relevant testing certifications (ISTQB or equivalent) are preferred.

This JD is suitable for a Mid -Level Automation Test Engineer (3–6 years) and can be adjusted for junior or senior roles by changing the experience level and technical expectations.
