We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data models that power analytics and data-driven decision-making. You will shape scalable, high-performance cloud data platforms, establish data governance standards, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust data models and pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design of conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Define canonical data models, entity relationships, facts, dimensions, and data dictionaries.
- Specify and validate ETL/ELT mappings ensuring lineage and traceability.
- Ensure scalability, performance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to translate use cases into models.
- Establish metadata, master data, and reference data standards.
- Define and enforce data governance, quality rules, and versioning.
- Drive prototyping, PoCs, and production rollouts.
- Mentor engineers and analysts on data modeling best practices.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 8â12 years of enterprise data architecture and modeling experience.
- Expertise in dimensional, normalized, data vault, and canonical modeling.
- Hands-on with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Proficient in SQL, Spark, dbt, and ETL tools.
- Experience with data modeling tools (Erwin, ER/Studio, Sparx, Archi).
- Robust understanding of data lineage, metadata, and data quality frameworks.
- Agile delivery experience and excellent communication skills.
