Key accountabilities: • Review the shift plan and Melting Foremen instructions; confirm the ladle status, transfer route, and magnesium treatment and casting priorities before operation. • Operate designated overhead cranes (Liquid metal handling) safely and transfer molten metal from Induction Furnace to magnesium treatment followed by casting within the required process time, preventing spillage, collision, and unnecessary delay. • Ensure preheated ladles to be used and correctly position the ladles for Furnace tapping/Metal back charge and at Magnesium treatment station. • Responsible for continuous metal distribution to casting machines. • Support casting hopper replacement and safely move slag buckets and bins, relining materials, machinery, equipment, and components for Production, Relining, Housekeeping, and Maintenance using approved lifting methods.

Qualifications: • High school diploma / Technical diploma in a related field. • Valid company authorization or recognized training for overhead-crane operation, especially hot metal handling; training in basic rigging and signaling, emergency response,



and LOTO is preferred. • Basic numeracy and the ability to read operating instructions, load information, production requirements, and safety procedures; basic English communication is required.

Experience: • Minimum 5 years of experience operating overhead cranes in a foundry, melting plant, steel melting plant, or similar heavy-manufacturing environment. • Hands-on experience in molten-metal ladle handling, furnace charging, and coordination with melting and casting teams is strongly preferred.
