NRole DescriptionnThis is a Full-time, in office role for an Interior Design Faculty at INSD Kolkata. The Faculty will be responsible for delivering lectures, mentoring students on projects, supervising practical sessions, preparing curriculum and lesson plans, and evaluating student progress. Additional responsibilities include organizing workshops, collaborating with industry professionals for guest lectures, and staying updated with the latest trends in interior design to enhance the teaching module. NEmployment Type - Full-Time on site.



NExperience Requirements - Nn Industry + Academic Experience - NnMinimum 2 years ofprofessional field/work experience in Interior Design, Architecture, Space Planning, Retail Design, Exhibition Design, Furniture Design, or related areas. NMinimum 1 year of teaching (academic) experience in a recognized educational institution. NTechnical Skills -n N Candidates should have proficiency in: N AutoCADn SketchUp N 3ds Maxn V-Ray/Enscape N Adobe Photoshopn Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) NnResponsibilities - Nn Deliver theory and practical classes in Interior Design. N Guide students in design projects, studio work, and portfolio development. N Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and examinations. N Conduct workshops, sitevisits, showroom visits, and industry interactions. N Participate in student mentoring, academic events, and institutional activities. N Maintain academic records and ensure timely submission of reports. NnDesired Skills - Nn Excellent communication and presentation skills. N Strong knowledge of interior materials, construction, furniture, lighting, and building services. N Ability to mentor students and manage classroom activities. N Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. N Industry exposure and software proficiency will be an added advantage. N
