Job DescriptionJob Description – MRD Manager (IVF Centre) NJob Title: MRD Manager NDepartment: Medical Records Department (MRD) NLocation: IVF Centre / Hospital NReports To: Centre Head / Hospital Administrator NJob SummarynThe MRD Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining all patient medical records in the IVF centre, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, compliance, and easy retrieval of records. The role includes supervising MRD staff, managing electronic and physical files, supporting NABH audits, and coordinating with doctors, embryologists, nurses, and admin teams. This aligns with standard MRD manager responsibilities in hospitals. NKey ResponsibilitiesnManage day-to-day operations of the Medical Records Department NMaintain patient files, IVF treatment records, consent forms, scan reports, and discharge summaries NEnsure proper filing, indexing, coding, scanning, and storage of records NMaintain strict confidentiality of patient data and treatment history NCoordinate with doctors, IVF specialists, embryologists, and nursing teams for documentation completion NEnsure all IVF cycle documents are properly updated in EMR/HIS systems NHandle record retrieval for medico-legal, insurance,



and patient requests NPrepare MIS reports, audit reports, and monthly record statistics NSupport NABH / quality audits / compliance checks NTrain and supervise MRD executives and record staff NMonitor record retention and disposal policies NEnsure timely closure of pending files and incomplete documentation NMaintain reports related to IUI, IVF, ICSI, embryo transfer, OT, lab, and donor records NRequired SkillsnStrong knowledge of MRD operations NKnowledge of hospital/IVFdocumentation standards NExperience with EMR, HIS,or IVF software NGood knowledge of NABH documentation NExcellent leadership and team management NAttention to detail and confidentiality NStrong reporting and MIS preparation skills NQualificationnGraduate / Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration / Health Information Management NCertification in MRD or Medical Coding preferred N3–5 years of MRD experience in hospital or IVF setup NPreferred ExperiencenExperience in IVF centre, fertility clinic, or women's healthcare hospital NKnowledge of ART documentation, consent handling, embryo record maintenance
