Job Description

Role Purpose:

This role is responsible for driving the creative vision, product development, team leadership, and successful delivery of seasonal collections across multiple accessory categories.

The ideal candidate is a strong design thinker with commercial acumen, exceptional product development expertise, and the ability to build teams, systems, and processes that support scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Collection Development

- Lead the design and development of seasonal accessories collections across multiple categories.
- Drive innovation while maintaining the brand's design language and aesthetic.
- Develop products across bags, footwear, belts, jewellery, gifting, and lifestyle categories.
- Conduct trend forecasting, market research, and competitor benchmarking.
- Build commercially relevant collections aligned with customer insights and business objectives.
- Curate seasonal assortments, color stories, materials, trims, and finishes.

Product Development & Delivery

- Ensure timely development and handover of collections in line with seasonal calendars.
- Collaborate closely with sourcing, merchandising, production, and buying teams.
- Oversee sampling, prototyping, fit reviews, and product refinements.
- Ensure complete and accurate technical handovers for production.




- Review PP samples and maintain quality standards throughout the development cycle.

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of designers and product developers
- Define KRAs, KPIs, and growth plans for team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions
- Foster a culture of ownership, creativity, accountability, and collaboration.

Process & Operational Excellence

- Build and improve systems, workflows, and documentation processes.
- Establish efficient tracking mechanisms for sampling, approvals, costing, and development.
- Drive operational excellence across the design and development function.

What we are looking for:

- 10–15+ years of experience in Accessories Design and Product Development.
- Proven experience in luxury, premium, contemporary, or designer fashion brands.
- Robust expertise in bags and leather goods; experience in footwear, jewellery, and lifestyle products is preferred.
- Deep understanding of materials, construction techniques, manufacturing processes, and vendor management.
- Strong design sensibility combined with commercial awareness.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
