Role & responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java (Spring Boot, MVC, Data) and Python.
- Design and build RESTful APIs, and work with relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code; perform unit and integration testing.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering, code reviews, and issue resolution.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to process improvements and technical discussions.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization and orchestration tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or pytest.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or contemporary frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
