- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents.
- Create, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and system testing.
- Validate desktop-based applications across different environments (Windows/Mac if applicable).
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure test coverage and maintain test documentation.
- Conduct UAT support and ensure readiness for production releases.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in functional/manual testing (4-6 years).
- Hands-on experience in testing desktop applications (Windows-based preferred).
- Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Knowledge of SQL for basic data validation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
