The position requires an experienced moldflow engineer with expertise in the use of Moldflow analysis for product and tooling evaluations prior to design release.
- Able to handle end to end operations of CAE MOLDFLOW Team, which would include interaction with Development Engineers to establish problem statements & inputs, establish project scheduling , timeline & delivery, Internal Research, Troubleshoot issues from the initial to end stage, provide quick & realistic design solutions.
- Proficient in Injection molding simulation (Cool+fill+pack+warp in dual domain & 3d Mesh) using Autodesk moldflow software.
- Proficient in meshing of plastic components & mold cooling system using Altair Hypermesh, Simlab& moldflow.
Skills & Experience:
- Carryout moldflow analysis for various parts and support the product and tooling team with analytical insights from the simulation.
- Expertise in moldflow simulation & plastic part developments specially in automobile domain
- Able to handle project independently.
- Setup moldflow models and simulation.
- Positive knowledge on polymer material properties & processing parameters.
- Should have good working level experience in preprocessing tools like Hypermesh, Simlab.
- Should have experience of resolving injection molding problem like weld line, sink mark, air trap & warpage.
- Able to perform moldflow analysis during design phase (Fill+Pack+Warp )& also during tooling phase(Cool+fill+pack+warp)
- Interpret results and propose/ discuss solutions. Prepare and /or manage deliverables on time (results, reports etc.)
- Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with Global Counterparts i.e., process engineer, Molding, tooling and product engineering representatives to gather inputs and review results.
