Role Overview
We are seeking candidates for our India Office based in Noida, for the role of Medical Auditor (Hybrid Profile) who have expertise and long experience in Evaluation & Management (E&M;) Coding
Role & responsibilities
- Audit Coding: Review and validate medical records against codes assigned by automated or autonomous systems to ensure accuracy.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Verify that coding complies with CMS, HIPAA, and industry regulations to prevent penalties and audits.
- Documentation Review: Confirm that clinical documentation supports the medical necessity and level of service (e.g., E/M coding) assigned.
- Error Analysis & Reporting:
Identify trends in AI errors and generate detailed reports for management.
- Feedback & Process Improvement: Provide feedback to the technical team to refine the autonomous coding engine and train human coders on complex cases.
- Regulatory Updates: Maintain in-depth knowledge of coding guidelines (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and regulatory changes to update audit tools.
Key Skills
- 5-8 years experience in E&M; coding
- Accuracy and speed
- Analytical Proficiency: Ability to identify patterns in large datasets to improve AI accuracy.
