Roles & Responsibilities Chip-Level Mobile Phone Repair Engineer

- Diagnose and repair complex hardware faults on smartphones using advanced chip-level troubleshooting techniques.
- Perform PCB (motherboard) diagnostics, identify faulty components, and carry out component-level repairs.
- Execute precision micro-soldering, IC replacement, BGA rework, jumper repairs, and connector replacement.
- Interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and board-view files to trace and resolve electrical faults.
- Repair issues related to power management, charging, display, touch, audio, camera, network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and signal connectivity.
- Flash firmware, update software, unlock devices (where authorized), and perform operating system restoration.
- Diagnose and restore water-damaged devices using industry-standard cleaning and repair procedures.
- Replace and test components such as charging ports, batteries, displays, cameras, microphones, speakers,



buttons, and sensors.
- Use professional diagnostic equipment, including DC power supplies, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, hot air rework stations, soldering stations, and microscopes.
- Conduct comprehensive functional testing and quality assurance before returning repaired devices.
- Maintain repair records, inventory of spare parts, and service documentation.
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety practices and manufacturer-recommended repair standards.
- Ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
