The On-Field Collections Executive plays a key role in supporting the organizations goals by managing the recovery of overdue home loan accounts and ensuring timely resolution of delinquencies. Operating within the Collections/Recovery Department, this role is responsible for on-ground customer engagement, collection of outstanding dues, and maintaining accurate reporting of recovery activities, while working closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. The position is critical in driving portfolio quality, minimizing credit risk, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines, while also maintaining positive and professional customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit customers with overdue home loan accounts to recover payments and manage assigned cases based on risk severity.
Negotiate repayment plans or settlements within policy guidelines and ensure adherence to collection targets and timelines.
Educate customers on loan terms, payment obligations, and consequences of default while addressing grievances professionally.
Conduct field visits to borrower premises, guarantors,
or property sites; trace skip cases and update records.
Maintain accurate reports of visits, commitments, and collections, and submit timely updates to the reporting manager.
Coordinate with legal teams for notices, SARFAESI actions, possession, or repossession activities as required.
Ensure compliance with company policies, RBI Fair Practices Code, and ethical collection practices.
Skills Required:
Solid negotiation and persuasion skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills (local language proficiency preferred).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Problem-solving attitude and resilience under pressure.
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Minimum Under-graduate
Experience: 04 years. Past experience in home loans or mortgage products preferred.
