Role Summary

The Product Quality & Development Engineer is responsible for ensuring end-to-end quality of LED TV products from development stage to mass production and after-sales. The role involves robust coordination with supplier factories to control production quality on behalf of the brand and close collaboration with the Service Team to monitor field performance and resolve customer issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure hardware, software, mechanical, and reliability quality of LED TV models.
- Represent the brand at supplier factory to monitor and control production quality.
- Oversee IQC, IPQC, LQC, and OQC processes at factory level.
- Mass Production PDI as per Company Standard
- Define CTQ (Critical to Quality) parameters before mass production.
- Monitor production yield, rejection trends, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive CAPA for quality issues.
- Review and approve pilot production and first mass production lot.




- Coordinate with Service Team to analyze field failures and reduce complaint rate.
- Prepare 8D reports and support periodic quality review meetings.
- Ensure compliance with reliability and regulatory standards (BIS, safety, EMI/EMC).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- In-process rejection rate
- OQC pass rate
- Field failure rate (DPT/PPM)
- First Pass Yield (FPY)
- Customer complaint reduction including online reviews (related to product quality)
- RCA & CAPA closure time
- NPD and NPI Timeline

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors degree in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 - 8 years of experience in LED TV or Consumer Electronics industry.
- Experience in supplier quality control and factory audits.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of quality tools (8D, 5 Why, 6M, SPC).
- Efficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office Suite.
