1. Network Architecture, Design & Implementation

- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade LAN / WAN architecture across the Noida Head Office, with functional oversight of the corresponding network infrastructure at the Roorkee plant.
- Lead implementation of current network solutions, upgrades, and topology redesigns aimed at improving reliability, scalability, and security drawing on prior hands-on experience delivering such solutions in mid-size enterprise environments.
- Own configuration and lifecycle management of switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, IP addressing (DHCP / DNS), Wi-Fi infrastructure, and VPN / remote access across all company locations.
- Evaluate and onboard ISP / telecom vendors for leased line and broadband connectivity at Noida HO; review and approve equivalent arrangements at the Roorkee plant.
- Maintain group-wide network documentation — topology diagrams, IP registers, and configuration baselines — and ensure both locations follow a common documentation standard.

2. Corporate IT Leadership & Best Practices

- Set and enforce IT best practices, standard operating procedures, and technology standards applicable across Noida HO and the Roorkee plant.
- Act as the single point of accountability for all IT matters before the Director, consolidating inputs from both locations into unified infrastructure and security roadmaps.
- Lead evaluation and rollout of enterprise-level software and productivity solutions for Noida HO employees, directing the IT Executive on scoping, testing, and deployment of such tools.
- Benchmark the organisation's IT maturity against industry best practices for mid-size enterprises and present improvement roadmaps to the Director on a periodic basis.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives,



including ERP / SAP infrastructure planning, cloud adoption where appropriate, and automation of routine IT operations.

3. Team & People Management

- Directly manage the IT Executive at Noida HO, allocating responsibility for enterprise software implementation and end-user productivity tools.
- Exercise functional oversight of the Desktop Support cum Network Engineer at the Roorkee plant, including work allocation, performance review inputs, and technical guidance, while respecting the plant's local administrative reporting line.
- Build a capability development plan for both team members, including relevant certifications and cross-training between the two locations.
- Ensure adequate IT coverage and escalation protocols exist at both locations at all times, including during staff leave or attrition.

4. Server, Systems & Enterprise Applications

- Own administration and performance monitoring of on-premise and cloud servers (Windows Server / Linux), virtualisation infrastructure, and backup / disaster recovery systems group-wide.
- Direct ERP / SAP infrastructure support and enterprise application rollouts at Noida HO, coordinating with the IT Executive for end-user implementation and adoption.
- Review and approve backup schedules, recovery drills, and business continuity arrangements for both locations,



ensuring the Roorkee plant's DR posture meets its regulatory context.

5. IT Security & Regulatory Alignment

- Establish and enforce IT security policy — endpoint protection, patch management, data access controls, and removable media / internet usage restrictions — across both locations.
- Ensure employee and organisational data is handled in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the SPDI Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection framework.
- Ensure IT systems supporting the Roorkee plant are maintained in a manner consistent with GMP and, where applicable, 21 CFR Part 11 requirements for validated systems; coordinate with Quality and Plant HR on any IT change impacting validated systems.
- Monitor security incidents across both locations and lead the incident response process, briefing the Director directly on any material breach or threat.

6. Vendor, Budget & Asset Management

- Own the IT vendor panel, AMC contracts, and licence compliance for both Noida HO and the Roorkee plant, ensuring no unlicensed software is deployed at either location.
- Prepare and manage the annual IT capital and operating budget for Director approval, including network upgrade and enterprise software investment proposals.
- Maintain a consolidated, group-wide IT asset register and present utilisation and refresh recommendations periodically.

7. Reporting & Governance

- Provide the Director with periodic MIS covering network uptime, open incidents, project status, and security posture across both locations.
- Support internal and external audits, and regulatory inspections at the Roorkee plant, by ensuring IT records and access logs are accurate and audit-ready at all times.
