Job Title: Design Engineer CATIA V5 (Plastic Product Design)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Design Engineer with expertise in CATIA V5 and plastic product design to support innovation and new product development. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of plastics engineering, concept development, CAD modeling, and material evaluation, along with excellent analytical and research skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop plastic components using CATIA V5.
- Create 2D/3D concept layouts, prototypes, and CAD models for product development and 3D printing.
- Develop free-form surface models and complex geometries.
- Support innovation projects through benchmarking, competitor analysis, and concept development.
- Evaluate plastic materials, manufacturing processes, and product performance.
- Research new materials, technologies, and industry trends,



and prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Perform CAD data transfer, processing, cleanup, and model simplification for downstream applications.

Required Skills

- 6- 10 years of experience in plastic component/product design.
- Strong proficiency in CATIA V5.
- Good knowledge of plastic materials, plastic part design, and manufacturing processes such as injection molding, extrusion, and thermoforming.
- Experience with surface treatments, coatings, and finishing technologies.
- Knowledge of prototype development and free-form surface modeling.
- Solid analytical, research, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
