About Pay10

Pay10 is a rapidly growing payments company operating across regulated payment ecosystems. As we continue to expand our Payment Aggregator (PA), PA-CB, PPI, and related regulated businesses, we are looking for an experienced Governance, Reporting & Training Lead to strengthen our compliance governance framework and drive enterprise-wide regulatory compliance initiatives.

Role & responsibilities :

Role Overview

The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and managing Pay10's Compliance Governance Office, ensuring effective implementation of regulatory requirements, governance frameworks, board reporting, regulatory reporting, training programs, compliance monitoring, and inspection readiness across the organization.

This role will work closely with senior leadership, business teams, operations, technology, risk, HR, audit, and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and governance excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance & Regulatory Framework

- Draft, review, and maintain Compliance Policies, SOPs, Frameworks, Process Notes, and Governance Documents.
- Establish policy governance, review cycles, approvals, and implementation tracking.
- Ensure alignment with RBI, NPCI, FIU-IND, CERT-In, MeitY, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain regulatory change management and compliance governance frameworks.

Regulatory Tracking & Compliance Management

- Track and analyze RBI, NPCI, FIU-IND, and other regulatory circulars, notifications, and advisories.
- Conduct impact assessments and coordinate implementation across departments.
- Maintain regulatory action trackers and ensure timely closure of observations and action items.
- Drive enterprise-wide compliance monitoring programs.

Board, Management & Regulatory Reporting

- Prepare Board, Audit Committee, Risk Committee,



and Senior Management compliance reports.
- Develop compliance dashboards, governance MIS, and regulatory status reports.
- Manage regulatory filings, certifications, declarations, and periodic compliance submissions.
- Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting across all business lines.

Regulatory Inspections & Audit Coordination

- Act as the central coordinator for RBI inspections, FIU reviews, NPCI audits, Internal Audits, Concurrent Audits, and Compliance Reviews.
- Coordinate information requests, evidence repositories, audit responses, and remediation plans.
- Track closure of audit and regulatory observations.
- Drive regulatory inspection readiness programs.

Compliance Testing & Risk Assessments

- Perform control testing, compliance reviews, and regulatory gap assessments.
- Assess compliance with RBI regulations, PA/PA-CB guidelines, PPI directions, AML/CFT requirements, outsourcing guidelines, and internal policies.
- Recommend and track corrective and preventive actions.

Training & Awareness Programs

- Develop and manage the annual Compliance Training Calendar.
- Design and implement induction and refresher training programs.
- Develop employee learning modules covering:
- AML/CFT
- KYC & Customer Due Diligence
- Fraud Risk Management
- Regulatory Compliance
- Cybersecurity & Information Security
- POSH
- Whistleblower Framework
- Code of Conduct
- Maintain training records, assessments, certifications,



and audit-ready evidence.

Vendor & Compliance Technology Management

- Manage compliance-related vendors and service providers.
- Support implementation and governance of AML, KYC/KYB, screening, monitoring, reporting, and training platforms.
- Track vendor performance, SLAs, and governance obligations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience

- 810+ years of experience in Compliance, Governance, Regulatory Affairs, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or Financial Crime Compliance.
- Prior experience in Payments, Fintech, Banking, Payment Aggregators, PPI, Acquiring, or Financial Services preferred.
- Hands-on experience in managing RBI, FIU-IND, NPCI, and regulatory inspections and audits.
- Strong experience in policy drafting, SOP development, governance reporting, regulatory reporting, and compliance monitoring.

Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline (Mandatory).
- MBA, PGDM, CA, CS, LLB, or equivalent skilled qualification preferred.
- Professional certifications such as ICA, ACAMS, CAMI, CFE, or related certifications will be an added advantage.
