We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst (6+ years) to support the design and delivery of data products within an Asset Management environment. The role will focus on translating business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements, enabling scalable data solutions, and driving process improvements across Fund Management operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in Private and Public Markets, deep understanding of fund structures and investment operations, and hands-on experience working in Agile delivery environments alongside cross-functional business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for data products and platforms
- Develop detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and functional specifications
- Create and maintain As-Is and To-Be process maps to support transformation initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Fund Management, Investment Operations, and Technology teams
- Support design and delivery of data-driven and AI-enabled solutions to improve decision-making and operational efficiency
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and architects to ensure requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions




- Contribute to data governance, data quality, and reporting improvements
- Support Agile delivery using tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to align business and technical requirements
- Drive process improvements and automation opportunities within fund operations

Required Experience & Skills

- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Services, preferably Asset Management
- Solid knowledge of Private Markets (Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Credit, Real Assets) and Public Markets
- Solid understanding of fund structures including LP/GP models, open-ended and closed-ended funds, co-investments, and feeder structures
- Experience with capital calls, NAV calculations, fund accounting, and valuations
- Strong expertise in requirements gathering, BRDs, functional documentation, and process mapping
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools for data analysis and reporting
- Experience working in Agile environments with tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Strong analytical mindset with exposure to data-driven decision-making and automation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across teams

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to data products, data platforms, or digital transformation programs
- Understanding of AI/ML use cases in financial services
- Experience working in large global investment management organizations
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
