Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Duck Creek Billing Developer with strong expertise in Duck Creek Billing implementation, customization, integration, and support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining billing solutions within the Duck Creek platform while collaborating closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality insurance technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and implement solutions using Duck Creek Billing.
- Customize Duck Creek Billing components to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Duck Creek Billing and external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware technologies.
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and technical estimations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA, Product Owners, and Architects.
- Support deployment activities and production releases.




- Create and maintain technical design documents and system documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and platform upgrades.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4-10 years of overall IT experience with significant hands-on experience in Duck Creek technologies.
- Robust experience in Duck Creek Billing implementation and development.
- Good understanding of Duck Creek Billing architecture, configuration, and customization.
- Experience working with .NET Framework, C#, SQL Server, XML, and Web Services.
- Knowledge of Duck Creek Author, Express, and related tools.
- Experience with system integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and messaging frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance processes.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Duck Creek platform upgrades and migration projects.
- Exposure to Duck Creek Policy or Claims modules.
- Knowledge of Azure, cloud-based deployments, or DevOps practices.
- Duck Creek certifications will be an added advantage.
