Role & responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

- Own and drive the end-to-end product roadmap for POS and billing products
- Define and prioritize features based on merchant feedback, market trends, and business goals
- Work closely with engineering leads to align technical feasibility with product vision

API Integrations & Payment Systems

- Lead high-level API integration planning with POS vendors, payment gateways, and acquirers
- Own integration documentation, partner onboarding specs, and API changelog management
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure UPI, card, and wallet flows are seamless and compliant
- Stay current on RBI guidelines, NPCI mandates, and payment industry standards

Billing & POS Domain Ownership

- Define billing engine logic, invoice workflows, and reconciliation modules
- Map end-to-end POS journeys including hardware interactions, settlement cycles, and reporting
- Identify gaps in billing systems and propose scalable product solutions

Client Management & Stakeholder Communication

- Act as the primary product point of contact for key enterprise clients
- Manage client escalations, feature requests, and product demos effectively
- Translate client pain points into actionable product requirements and user stories

Design & Documentation





- Create detailed wireframes and product flows to communicate requirements to design & engineering
- Maintain crisp PRDs, BRDs, and user story documentation
- Use Figma (or equivalent tools) to sketch UX flows and prototype ideas where needed

Preferred candidate profile

Domain Expertise (Mandatory)

- Strong understanding of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems hardware, software, and ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with billing systems, invoice engines, or ERP integrations
- Deep working knowledge of UPI, payment rails, and the Indian digital payments landscape
- Exposure to API integrations in the fintech or payments domain REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs
- Understanding of settlement cycles, reconciliation, chargebacks, and payment lifecycle

Product Management Skills (Mandatory)

- 5-8 years of proven experience in product management (not project management)
- Ability to create clear, qualified wireframes and product flowcharts
- Strong written and verbal communication — comfortable with client calls, demos, and internal reviews
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across engineering, design, and business
- Strong analytical mindset — comfort with data, metrics, and product KPIs
