Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer with 5+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable cloud-based data pipelines. The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, AWS Glue, Lambda, ETL, SQL, Data Warehousing, and modern DevOps/DataOps practices including CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform, along with exposure to Generative AI.

Required Skills

- Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and related AWS services
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT pipeline development and data integration
- Expertise in SQL and Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, SCD, Fact & Dimension tables)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)




- Good understanding of Kubernetes and containerized data workloads
- Experience in performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting distributed data pipelines
- Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, Vector Databases, or Amazon Bedrock is preferred
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Git, and version control

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS data pipelines.
- Develop ETL workflows using Python, PySpark, AWS Glue, and Lambda.
- Build and optimize data warehouse solutions and SQL queries.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure using Terraform.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production data pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-quality data solutions.
- Contribute to GenAI-enabled data applications and intelligent data platforms.
