About the Role We build security assessment and cyber intelligence products for enterprise and government clients. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to drive core product development and architecture. In addition to engineering, you will act as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME), serving as the highest technical escalation point to support deployment teams when they hit roadblocks in high-security environments. Key Responsibilities Product Engineering: Lead the development and extension of the core security assessment engine and supporting automation workflows. System Integration: Architect and integrate open-source and commercial security tooling into a unified enterprise workflow. Backend Development: Build robust backend services and APIs for data ingestion, processing, normalization, and automated reporting. Optimization: Drive improvements in scan accuracy, coverage, and performance while reducing false positives. OS Hardening: Package, optimize, and harden Linux-based builds for secure, repeatable installation by deployment teams. Field Support: Serve as the primary technical escalation point for deployment and configuration issues at client sites. Diagnostics: Diagnose complex scan, connectivity, firewall configuration, and performance problems reported from the field. Knowledge Transfer: Maintain technical runbooks, troubleshooting documentation, and enable internal stakeholders through technical walkthroughs. Requirements Python Mastery:



Solid Python development experience you have built actual security tooling, automation frameworks, or core engines from scratch. Security Domain: Practical background in network and web application security assessments (VAPT frameworks). Linux Administration: Deep understanding of Linux fundamentals, shell scripting, kernel configurations, and system-level hardening. Core Networking: Solid hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, firewalls, routing, and packet analysis. Commute Flexibility: Absolute willingness to travel daily to client sites at either CGO Complex or Shastri Park.
