Role & responsibilities

- Prepare comprehensive techno-commercial bids for Power, BESS, and Solar EPC projects.
- Review tender documents, RFQs, RFPs, technical specifications, and contractual terms to identify project requirements and risks.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, quantity take-offs, and project budgets.
- Develop cost models for equipment, EPC works, civil works, electrical systems, transmission, and balance of plant (BoP).
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, BD, Regulatory, Finance, and Supply Chain teams for bid preparation.
- Obtain quotations from OEMs, vendors, and subcontractors; perform commercial and technical evaluations.
- Conduct bid risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare bid assumptions, clarifications, exclusions, and commercial deviations.
- Support contract negotiations and pre-award discussions with clients.
- Ensure bids comply with customer specifications, statutory requirements, and company standards.
- Maintain bid documentation, estimation databases, and cost benchmarks.
- Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector.




- Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives to improve bid competitiveness.
- Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, and internal bid review committees.

Preffered

- 710 years of experience in Power, Renewable Energy, Solar, BESS, Transmission & Distribution, or EPC industries.
- Proven experience in preparing techno-commercial bids for utility-scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience with government and private sector tenders, including SECI, NTPC, NHPC, SJVN, PGCIL, and State DISCOM projects, is preferred.
- Familiarity with EPC contracts, FIDIC terms, and commercial bid structures is desirable.
