Position Overview: The primary responsibility of this role focuses on managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a seamless hiring experience. This includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating offers, and facilitating smooth induction and orientation for new hires. The role also supports related People Operations functions such as employee documentation, record management, and compliance. This position reports to the Senior Officer, People Operations, and works under general supervision to ensure timely and efficient staffing aligned with organizational needs.

Responsibilities:

The Associate, People Operations would be primarily responsible for independently managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle. They would be leading the recruitment through recruiting module of HRMS. They must be innovative, rational and should be able to draw suggestions and work on demarcated guidelines within the specified Turnaround Time. Update the position descriptions in the organization according to the need in consultation with the respective line managers.

Operate within the People Operations Budget and monitor spending. Recommend standard recruiting and placement practices and procedures consistent with Global office/Regional Office guidance. Recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish positive employee relationships and employee-employer relationships. Ensure that the organization s and the employee s interests are protected, and the policies/ practices of the organization are legally compliant. Investigate complaints and recommend appropriate action. Review employee appeals through compliant procedure. Provide stewardship of the organization culture and facilitate its institutionalization





Qualifications:

Required: Demonstrated ability to design and implement People Operations programs and initiatives, preferably in development sector. Bachelor s degree with minimum of five years of professional experience in People Operations position. General knowledge of the principles and practices of personnel administration. Generalist People Operations background preferably developed through various specialist assignments. The most important of which would be recruiting, employee training and development, People Operations administration, compensation, and compliance. Demonstrated strategic approach to People Operations with the ability and willingness to also execute the tactical elements of the job. Ability to work within narrowly defined objectives under general supervision. Ability to effectively address well defined problems of moderate complexity and complete moderately complex assignments. Generally, assists with Country Office wide projects as assigned by the Senior Officer, People Operations. Generates tactical solutions that address the needs of various departments in the Country Office. Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written) and capability to relate and interact with multicultural teams and represent the organization in professional forums.
