Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Duck Creek Billing Developer to design, develop, customize, and support Duck Creek Billing solutions for Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance clients. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Duck Creek Billing configuration, integrations, billing workflows, and insurance domain processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and customize Duck Creek Billing modules based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain Duck Creek Author manuscripts, business rules, screens, and workflows.
- Implement billing plans, payment schedules, invoicing, collections, commissions, and payment processing functionalities.
- Design and develop integrations with Policy Administration, Claims, CRM, and third-party systems.
- Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
- Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, and production support.
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.




- Support Duck Creek OnDemand (DCOD) deployments and release management activities.
- Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Duck Creek Billing Development.
- Robust experience with Duck Creek Billing, Author, and Manuscripts.
- Knowledge of Duck Creek Rules Engine and Configuration.
- Experience in P&C; Insurance domain.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
- Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, and Web Services.
- Strong understanding of billing lifecycle and insurance operations.
- Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Duck Creek OnDemand (DCOD).
- Knowledge of Policy, Billing, and Claims modules.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Duck Creek Certifications preferred.
