Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in functional testing along with API and UI testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating end-to-end application workflows, ensuring high-quality releases across web applications and backend services.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to design effective test scenarios
- Perform functional testing across web applications to ensure business workflows are validated end-to-end
- Execute API testing using tools like Postman or similar to validate request/response, status codes, and business logic
- Conduct UI testing across different browsers and devices to ensure consistency and usability
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test data
- Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA
- Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure timely resolution of issues




- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Required Skills

- Strong experience in functional/manual testing
- Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman / REST APIs)
- Good experience in UI/Web testing (cross-browser validation)
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
- Basic knowledge of SQL for backend validation
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with test case design and execution

Positive to Have

- Exposure to automation tools (Selenium / Playwright)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / Git)
- Experience in performance or security testing basics
