Sai Life Sciences is hiring a Solutions Architect to design and drive scalable, enterprise-grade technology solutions across our discovery, development, and manufacturing operations. As one of India's fastest-growing CRDMOs, the technology solutions we build are central to how we deliver value.

You will sit at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, translating complex requirements into robust architectural designs. This is a role for someone who thinks holistically, communicates clearly, and takes pride in building scalable & robust solutions that are both technically sound and practically adopted.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for complex engagements, producing cloud native architecture blueprints that cover application layers, data flows, integration topology, security controls, deployment models, and AI/ML service orchestration aligned with Sai's scientific and operational strategy, business goals, and regulatory requirements.
- Architect solutions that incorporate AI/ML services - LLM orchestration layers, RAG pipelines, model inference endpoints, vector search, and intelligent automation - as first-class components rather than afterthoughts
- Own the enterprise integration architecture, designing how our digital products connect with client and internal systems including ERP, ELN, LIMS, QMS and third-party SaaS platforms
- Design API strategies, architect event driven integration patterns, define integration middleware for complex multi-system orchestration & data synchronization patterns.
- Design security architectures, authorization models, data protection controls and ensure the solution architectures meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Conduct due diligence of existing solutions, identify gaps, risks, and technical debt, and drive improvements toward a well-defined target state.
- Translate business requirements into technical solution proposals; present architecture options with clear trade-offs on cost,



complexity, timeline, and risk and identify interdependencies across teams, initiatives, and technology domains, ensuring alignment at every layer.
- Create and maintain solution roadmaps and transition architectures, guiding delivery teams through implementation.
- Advance Sai's technology capabilities by driving feasibility analysis and selecting platforms and technologies that provide the best fit for the problem at hand.
- Provide architectural guidance, coaching, and advisory support to cross-functional teams and business stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle and champion the engineering and innovation culture.
- Contribute to architecture standards, patterns, and best practices, and support technology evaluation and selection aligned with enterprise architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 12+ years of experience in solution architecture or a related field with a solid track record of designing and delivering enterprise-grade technology solutions.
- Strong ability to translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable architectural designs.
- Experience designing integrations across enterprise platforms and advising on architectural patterns and best practices.
- Ability to identify technical debt, assess risks, and drive structured improvements across complex technology landscapes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their associated services.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with delivery teams, business stakeholders, and technology leaders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Background in life sciences, pharma, or biotech environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory or compliance considerations in technology solution design.
- Experience with data architecture and data modeling in support of enterprise initiatives.
- Exposure to agile delivery methodologies and sprint-based execution.
