Job Title: Senior Selenium Automation Test Engineer (Java) 6 to 8 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Selenium Automation Test Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium WebDriver. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing and developing robust automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using TestNG/JUnit.
- Perform web application testing across multiple browsers and platforms.
- Develop reusable libraries, utilities, and automation components.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.
- Execute API testing using Rest Assured/Postman.
- Analyze test results, identify defects,



and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices.

Required Skills

- 68 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Robust programming skills in Core Java.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle.
- Strong understanding of automation framework design (POM, Hybrid, Data-Driven, BDD).
- Experience with API Automation Testing using Rest Assured.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket version control systems.
- Exposure to Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Cucumber BDD.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or Selenium Grid.
- Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter) is an added advantage.
- Mobile automation experience using Appium is a plus.
