Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Micro Focus UFT (QTP), Selenium WebDriver, Database Testing, and Mainframe Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing automation frameworks, developing test scripts, performing backend validations, and ensuring application quality across web and legacy systems.

Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using UFT and Selenium WebDriver.
- Create and execute Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End test scenarios.
- Perform automation testing for Web Applications and Mainframe Systems.
- Validate backend data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Identify, track,



and report defects using defect management tools.
- Work closely with Development, Business Analyst, and Product teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, effort estimation, and test execution activities.
- Enhance automation frameworks and improve test execution efficiency.
- Support CI/CD and continuous testing initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

- 57 years of QA Automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with UFT and Selenium automation.
- Experience in Mainframe application testing.
- Strong SQL querying and backend validation skills.
- Valuable understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
