Role Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain scalable Python-based APIs (REST/GraphQL) for financial data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
- Integrate 3rd-party fintech services (banking APIs, payment gateways, KYC engines) using OAuth2, JWT, and webhook patterns.
- Optimize API performance, error handling, and rate-limiting logic to ensure 99.95% uptime for production systems.
- Write automated unit/integration tests (pytest, unittest) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Collaborate with Product and QA to define API contracts (OpenAPI/Swagger) and enforce versioning, documentation, and deprecation policies.
- Monitor API health via logging (ELK, Datadog), dashboards, and alerting; troubleshoot latency, failure, and security issues in real-time.
