Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Executive with strong international sourcing capability. The candidate will identify, evaluate, qualify and develop reliable suppliers from countries such as China, Egypt, Malaysia, Vietnam, Turkey and India for the companys procurement and business requirements.

This role requires a technically sound engineering graduate who can understand specifications, coordinate RFQs, compare supplier capabilities, manage documentation, support negotiations and build a dependable international vendor network. The role is not limited to price collection; it requires structured supplier development, risk evaluation and clear recommendations to management.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and shortlist reliable international and domestic suppliers, manufacturers, exporters and service providers.
- Develop supplier networks across China, Egypt, Malaysia, Vietnam, Turkey, India and other relevant sourcing countries.
- Understand technical and commercial requirements before approaching suppliers.
- Prepare and send RFQs to qualified suppliers and follow up for complete offers.
- Collect quotations, product specifications, catalogues, certificates, company profiles and compliance documents.
- Evaluate supplier capability, manufacturing strength, quality systems, delivery reliability and documentation standards.
- Prepare supplier comparison statements with price, technical suitability, logistics, payment terms, risk rating and recommendation.
- Support negotiations on price, payment terms, delivery schedule, warranty, inspection requirements and service commitments.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA/logistics partners and internal teams wherever import/export movement is involved.
- Maintain a structured sourcing tracker with vendor stage, last action, next action and next action date.
- Track RFQs, pending quotes, supplier responses, documents, clarifications and management decisions.
- Submit daily and weekly sourcing updates with clear progress, risks,



stuck points and next priorities.

International Sourcing Focus

- Source and evaluate suppliers from China, Egypt, Malaysia, Vietnam, Turkey and India.
- Understand basic international trade terms such as EXW, FOB, CIF and CFR.
- Coordinate with suppliers for export packing, inspection, documentation and shipment-related clarifications.
- Verify supplier export experience, certifications, past shipment capability and references wherever applicable.
- Compare suppliers not only on price, but also on quality, reliability, logistics feasibility and commercial risk.
- Support management in building a long-term approved vendor panel for international sourcing.

Skills Required

- Strong international vendor sourcing and supplier development skills.
- Positive technical understanding and ability to read specifications, catalogues and data sheets.
- Strong communication skills for dealing with overseas and domestic suppliers.
- Good negotiation and commercial evaluation ability.
- Good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and ability to prepare comparison statements.
- Understanding of RFQ process, supplier qualification and procurement documentation.
- Basic knowledge of import/export documentation, Incoterms, ports and logistics will be preferred.
- Ability to maintain trackers, follow up systematically and close pending actions.
- Attention to detail in pricing, taxes, freight, specifications, payment terms and documents.
- Organized, process-driven and result-oriented working style.

Qualification & Experience

- Engineering degree is mandatory.
- Civil / Mechanical / Electrical engineering background preferred.




- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor development, international sourcing, import sourcing or supply chain management.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, project procurement, industrial products, building materials or export/import sourcing will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with experience dealing with international suppliers from China, Turkey, Vietnam, Malaysia, Egypt or similar markets will be preferred.

Candidate Profile

- Technically sound, commercially aware and capable of independently handling supplier communication.
- Disciplined in follow-up, documentation and tracker updates.
- Comfortable working with multiple countries, time zones and supplier types.
- Able to identify genuine manufacturers and reliable suppliers rather than only collecting contacts.
- Able to evaluate supplier risk and present practical recommendations to management.
- Should have ownership mindset and ability to work with targets, timelines and structured processes.

- Weekly update should include category-wise progress, qualified vendors, pending quotations, comparison status, risks and management decisions required.
