Job Summary
The Production Manager will be responsible for managing the manufacturing process of water-soluble fertilisers, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining product quality standards, and supervising plant operations. The role also involves coordinating with multiple departments to maintain smooth production flow and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the production of water-soluble fertilisers in the manufacturing unit
- Plan and monitor daily production schedules to meet operational targets
- Ensure product quality standards and compliance with company specifications
- Coordinate with RD, quality control, and supply chain teams
- Monitor raw material usage, inventory, and production efficiency
- Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce wastage
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Manage and train production staff and plant operators
- Maintain production documentation, reporting, and plant records
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of water-soluble fertiliser manufacturing processes
- Experience in plant operations and production management
- Positive understanding of quality control and process optimization
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and coordination abilities
- Ability to manage production planning and plant operations efficiently
