Responsibilities
1. BD projects and GPI projects co-ordination and Alliance management: to be the SPOC and coordinate CDMO/CMO/CRO and co-development activities with external partners. Plan and run Joint Steering Committee meetings with external partners, and report updated status. Identify risks and highlight them proactively.
2. Product extensions: collate requirements from various functions for expanding the scope of existing products by introducing recent SKUs, in terms of strengths, trade dress, packing, etc., based on market demands or potential opportunities.
3. Market extensions: collate requirements from various functions for expanding the scope of existing products into other markets, based on market demands. This will include assessing the need for additional development, biostudies, stability studies, packaging, manufacturing, and IP requirements.
4. Tech Transfer projects: work with the technology holding and receiving sites and other relevant functions to assess feasibility for tech transfers, timeline, and cost, etc. and provide a plan. This will include getting assessment on any potential adverse impact on existing manufacturing plan and mitigation strategy.
5. New project assessments: Coordinate among R&D;, manufacturing, commercial, and other relevant functions for new project assessments,
collate required information, and provide compiled information for PSC to review.
6. Pipeline status monitoring and reporting: to work with all R&Ds; within scope and maintain comprehensive updated database on the planned versus actual on various milestones related to under development projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- Essential: Bachelors degree in a pharmacy related discipline or chemical engineering.
- Desirable: Masters degree in a pharmacy related discipline; PMP certification.
- Essential:
1. About 5 years experience in pharma R&D;, tech transfer or manufacturing, with exposure to product development and tech transfers.
2. Knowledge and hands-on experience in using various used in pharma development and manufacturing ops.
- Desirable:
1. Prior work in a similar role
2. Knowledge of the regulatory and quality process involved in pharmaceutical development, filing, and approval.
Knowledge and Skills
- Essential:
1. Good interpersonal and communication skills as this job requires a lot of coordination with internal and external customers.
2. Good, working familiarity with Excel. Must be able to create and maintain databases in such a way as to integrate with other master databases seamlessly.
- Desirable:
1. Experience in GMP requirements.
2. Familiarity with project management software, especially MS Projects.
