Assist Cardiologists during Coronary Angiography, Angioplasty (PTCA), Primary PCI, Pacemaker Implantation, and other interventional cardiac procedures.

b. Prepare the Cath Lab before procedures by arranging catheters, guidewires, balloons, stents, contrast media, and other required consumables.

c. Prepare and position patients for procedures and ensure all pre-procedure checklists are completed.

d. Monitor ECG, heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and hemodynamic parameters during procedures.

e. Operate Cath Lab imaging equipment, hemodynamic monitoring systems, and recording systems.

f. Maintain sterile techniques and infection control protocols throughout the procedure.

g. Assist in emergency procedures including STEMI cases, temporary pacemaker insertion, and cardiac arrest management.

h. Coordinate with Cardiologists, Nursing staff, ICU, Emergency Department, Blood Bank, and Admissions Department for smooth patient care.

i. Ensure availability of all implants, consumables, and emergency equipment before commencement of procedures.

j. Assist in shifting patients safely to and from Cath Lab, ICU, CCU, Wards, and Emergency areas.

k. Maintain accurate records of procedures,



consumables utilized, implants used, and patient details.

l. Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Cath Lab equipment and report technical issues promptly.

m. Ensure radiation safety measures are followed and appropriate protective devices are used.

n. Monitor stock levels of consumables and coordinate with stores for replenishment.

o. Assist in preparation of procedure statistics, monthly reports, and departmental documentation.

p. Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste as per hospital policies.

q. Participate in quality improvement activities, NABH audits, and departmental training programs.

r. Attend emergency call duties and remain available for after-hours Cath Lab procedures as per roster.

s. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to hospital policies and protocols.

Qualification

- Diploma/B.sc in Cath Lab Technology
- Telangana Registration

Experience

- 1 to 5 Years in Cath Lab
- Experience in Angiography, Angioplasty, Pacemaker Procedures, and Hemodynamic Monitoring preferred.
