Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with 1218 years of software development experience, including leading high-performing engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent people management skills, and experience delivering scalable, high-quality software products. This role requires close collaboration with Product Management, Architecture, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to drive engineering excellence and business outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and develop multiple engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Define engineering goals, roadmaps, and execution strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive end-to-end software delivery, ensuring quality, scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and stakeholders to prioritize features and manage delivery timelines.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes.
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, and resource allocation to ensure successful execution.
- Hire, coach, and retain top engineering talent through regular performance reviews and career development.
- Promote a culture of innovation, ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.




- Oversee architecture discussions and technical decision-making while balancing business priorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12–18 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4–6 years in engineering leadership.
- Proven experience managing engineering teams of 10–30+ members.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, distributed systems, and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on experience with contemporary programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and release management.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience leading digital transformation or cloud migration initiatives.
- Knowledge of microservices, containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Experience with AI/ML-enabled products or data-driven platforms is an advantage.
