Network Administrator Job Description

Job Title : Network Administrator

Experience : 7+ Years

Location : Hyderabad, India.

OSI Digital is looking for a Network administrator with 7 + years of hands-on experience with R&S;, Network Security, Wireless and the cloud , including designing, implementing, supporting, experience in On premises /Cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Proactively identify client’s business needs and recommend innovative strategies to achieve their technology goals.

Participate in the pre-and post-sales process, helping both the sales and development or support teams to develop customers’ requirements

Collaborate with partner account teams to identify prospective infrastructure and cloud opportunities

Articulate product benefits to solve client’s technology challenges.

Provide analysis and development of integrated infrastructure initiatives.

Incident Mgmt. Request Mgmt. Change Mgmt. Problem Mgmt. Monitoring, Continues Services Improvements, Value Adds, design, test, and implement network solutions Part of network operation team to validate network design as per customer specifications including circuit protection, transport network selection, and interworking across networks

Provide engineering/deployment support during the implementation and turn up of new network nodes and related connections.

Assist with compilation of technical documents and presentations such as SOW’s and customer proposals.

Prepare and deliver solution related presentations.

Develop customer and partner relationships to ensure OSI Digital is recognized as a trusted advisor.

Required Skills

Minimum of 7 years of network experience

Minimum of 7 years of Core network services connectivity and integration experience





BS/BA or equivalent experience or subject matter expertise in the service being provided Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or higher

Experience and knowledge of WAN circuit provisioning, ACI, Cisco Nexus,F5 Load balancer ,Network Security deployment, and installation.

Must have hands on experience on any two firewalls (Fortigate,Paloalto,ASA,Checkpoint).

Extensive experience with Cisco routing platforms, such as Aggregation Services Routers (ASRs), Nexus, ACI and Integrated Service Routers (ISRs)

Demonstrated knowledge of routing protocols and technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP,IPSEC,DMVPN, GRE

Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Layer 2 technologies including STP, MST, VLANS

Demonstrated knowledge of Wireless technologies(Cisco/Aruba)

Demonstrated experience in overseeing and troubleshooting complex

Local Area Networking (LAN) issues and resolving

Wide Area Networking (WAN) problems and implementing, integrating, and supporting of cost-effective, high-performance IP and LAN/WAN solutions.

Excellent communication skills

Preferred Additional Skills and Qualifications:

Cisco Certified Network Qualified (CCNP)

Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and work experience with SD-WAN technology.

Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership and training to lower level network engineers.

Experience in network engineering within the federal intelligence community

Ability to adhere to a disciplined troubleshooting methodology, and ensure task/mission completion, along with creating and maintaining necessary information

Highly self-motivated and directed, with attention to detail and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment

We are not looking for someone who is

- Not worked in the Network Security infrastructure support for the previous five years.
- Not flexible to the rotational shifts.
